Eyes on the Weekend (5-6 June)

In Eyes on the Weekend we share what our LifeisXbox team has been playing, most of the times we have our hands full with review games. Some of those have embargo’s so we can’t always openly share what we are playing. What is interesting for us is to see what YOU have been playing! Be sure to let us know on social media! 🙂

Dae Jim | A very productive weekend for me as I played a big list of games! The first one I finally finished was SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE, an incredible game with a rather weird ending. It forces you to wait two and a half hours before you get the ending, thankfully I could play something while waiting with Xbox Quick Resume! I finished the first Mass Effect and started the sequel in Mass Effect Legendary Edition and continued my progress in the charming world from Biomutant. That’s not all though, as I started a few new review games and you’ll read about that this week. The struggle is real having every game that I need to play on my Series X’s HDD :/

Robby (BloodyGoodReviews) | Went back and forth between a lot of different games this weekend, while I wait for the new big titles to drop next week. Some races in DIRT5, cleaning up and island and rescuing animals in Island Saver, playing Bravely Second on the Nintendo 3DS before going to sleep, rediscoring my old love for MTG Arena and even dipping my toes back into Watch Dogs Legion for some new sidequests they added. Even Fuser made a brief appearance again in my rotation, because I wanted to clean up some remaining achievements.I should be tackling my backlog, but here I am playing games I already had downloaded onto the hard drive.

VicciVulpix | Didn’t play too much this weekend as it was my mum’s birthday but I have hopped back into Borderlands 3 recently to check out what the new skill tree for each character had to offer but I was really disappointed to find this content was locked behind a pay wall. Nonetheless, I started a new Moze and damn, I had forgotten just how fun it is to use Iron Bear and nuke enemies! Played a fair amount of this over the weekend. Of course, I also played a handful of games SMITE which were a mixture of good and bad. Thinking of trying to play Vulcan a little more as I’ve been enjoying someone different in mid lane.

Maui | This weekend, I took some more time for myself doing other things, rather than playing games. The games I did play were for reviewing purposes because I’ve got quite some games to cover at the moment! I invested most of my time in Swords of Legends Online, which has a beta going on right now. This is one absolutely stunning game that is releasing this summer for PC. You can read all about it in my preview that’s coming today! I also played Edge of Eternity for a few hours, which is another game I very much enjoyed. That review will be online somewhere this week as well. And that was pretty much it for me this weekend!
