A look back at the disappointments from 2015

We had a good gaming year, no denying that but we had a few small and big disappointments too.  Each and every year you have those moments when a game launches and it turns out to be bad, or when your most anticipated game gets a delay. We look back at all the disappointments from 2015.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5

Only a few years ago Tony Hawk Pro Skater was a reason to play videogames, in 2015 it fell right on it’s face and is considered by many the worst game in 2015.

No splitscreen for Halo 5: Guardians

Halo 5: Guardians is one of the better games on Xbox One, with high rating and fun online multiplayer.  The announcement that local multiplayer was not available brought many negative reactions from the Halo community and gamers in general

Konami

They cancelled Silent Hills and all the issues with Kojima didn’t make them very popular. Even worse, Sony and Kojima are now working together and the next game will not come for Xbox One.

Fable Legends

Should have been one of the heavy hitters from 2015 but the game got delayed again and will now be available for everyone in Spring 2016.

Xbox One sales in the last months of 2015

While sales are really good for Xbox One it’s disappointing for Microsoft that PS4 is doing better with lackbuster exclusive games. While Xbox One has Forza motorsport 6, Halo 5 Guardians, Rare Replay, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Gears of War. It’s nothing to be a shamed of but Xbox fans and Microsoft will have to content with being the second most popular console in this generation.
