What did you and we play this weekend?

Be sure to let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram what YOU played! For now, here are a few LifeisXbox writers to tell you about their weekend.

Dae Jim:
I had a few review game obligations with Kill it With fire, glitchangels and Explosionade, luckily all three were fun to play. Most of my time went into Spyro Reignited Trilogy though, I completely finished the first and third Spyro and I’m more than halfway with the second one. It is really fun that each level has an Achievement, in my opinion, this is how the Achievement system should be used!

Robby:
This weekend, I kept playing Taxi Chaos for the achievements, despite better judgement. The game is flat-out boring and you need to follow a guide to get most collectables. I should just delete it, but my inner completionist needs to see 1000G before I do. I also FINALLY made some story progress in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and my god does it take an interesting turn. I was also surprised to see “Covid” mentioned a few times in the emails (when you control Layla in the real world). 115 hours in and still have about 20% to go! Lastly, I reached my goal of playing Ring Fit Adventure every single day in February. I’ll be writing a detailed report full of memes about the highs & lows, the muscle aches and the drops in motivation after not seeing the pounds fly off on the scales.

Xendacine:
This weekend I played my review game Sir Lovelot. It is a great platformer and be sure to keep an eye on the review coming this week. For the rest, I spent my time achieving gold in Overwatch on Tank and Open Queue! DPS still stuck mid silver, but I’m slowly getting there. When I found some extra time, I watched The Blacklist and some of The Expanse while I was alone, and watched Wonderwoman 1984 with Mikachu! Overall an amazing weekend!

Vicci:
I definitely had a treat playing Control this past week and weekend. I’ve been wanting to play this for some time and I’d seen it was on the Xbox Games Pass. All I can say is it’s a phenomenal game which I highly recommend giving a go. I managed to complete all the base game content and I will be purchasing the DLC to continue as I just don’t want to stop playing. I played SMITE on Sunday night and tried a game mode called dodgeball which was great fun along with some usual Clash and Assault thrown in. Thinking of trying to learn the assassin Nemesis in time too.

Maui:
Had a slow weekend! Played and finished Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery, a new game on Steam. The review for this game will be online today as well. Spoiler alert: this game really surprised me in the best way! I finished the weekend playing some Stardew Valley on my Switch. And downloaded the Balan Wonderworld demo, exciting!
