It’s time to look back on the week we’ve just had! What did the weekdays look like for our writers? What was the biggest news from the week? and what are we looking forward to playing during the upcoming weekend? Our Eyes on the Week article will answer all three of these questions!
We’re curious about your opinion and played games, so be sure to share your stuff on our social media channels!

My main game this week has been Dead by Daylight as we look forward to the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s Springtrap release! Plus, the anniversary event is upcoming so plenty to look forward to, The games have been hit or miss but that’s to be expected within most multiplayer games. I really dislike going against Ghoul and need more Myers and Leatherface matches!
I played some Grand Theft Auto V with Lewis, completing the Prison Break Heist for the first time and reaching Level 100. I also got all the playing card collectables. I need to make a plan of action regarding what I need to unlock more achievements and work towards 100% game completion.
Although I finished the story in Crime Scene Cleaner last week, I decided not to steal anything during my missions in case it affected my overall completion percentage. More fool me as one of the achievements requires you to steal £50K so I’m now having to go back and redo missions to steal everything I can. I’ve redone The Italian Job multiple times but it’s starting to get very tedious now. That’s what I get for trying to be good!
After completing Split Fiction, me and Lewis decided to replay It Takes Two. I wanted to compare them and have a fresh image of both so I could decide which I thought was the better game. I also forgot how competitive I get when it comes to the 1v1 mini-games!
Most interesting news of this week: Seeing Springtrap in the Dead by Daylight PTB is exciting! I can’t wait for the chapter release!
Looking forward to playing: More or less the same again and The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

I spent most of my gaming time on the PC this week, which is unusual for me.
I played through Frog Legs in a single sitting, a game that starts as Frogger, evolves into a first-person puzzle game, and then ends with a small bit of DOOM. All in the span of 30 minutes. Luckily at a low lw price.
I also played a few hours of Paperklay, a 3D platforming coll-egg-athon I hope someday comes to Xbox. Love the Paper & Klay aesthetics, and the voice acting was surprisingly fun too.
I also played the OFF prologue, which is available now on Steam and offers the first playable hour of the full game. Very much worth checking out for fans of RPGs. Check my playthrough [HERE]
Most interesting news of this week: I helped DELTARUNE get the cover of the next DEBUG magazine. Which is all kinds of awesome.
Looking forward to playing: Copycat on Xbox as I need to replay it for the 1000G.

This week I finished playing Crime Scene Cleaner and I was not disappointed in the slightest. It was quite a satisfying game to play. I played a little bit more of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and I’m still enjoying it quite a bit.
I started Clair Obscur Expedition 33, and quickly turned the difficulty down since I’m terrible with timing dodges and parries properly. It’s a very beautiful game, and it has an interesting story, but I’m unsure whether to finish it.
I played a little bit of Steamworld Dig, Monster Train, and Monster Train 2. The latter seems to add a few interesting elements to what the original had, but I still think the art style of the first one is superior, and I’m not entirely sold on the new soundtrack either.
Most interesting news of this week: Cyberpunk 2 entering pre-production, since I really enjoyed the first one.
Looking forward to playing: More Resident Evil 4 Remake, Monster Train’s DLC and maybe keep trying Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

What a lovely week it was. It was full of great indie game releases! I was lucky enough to be able to play a few of them.
This week started with me playing more Cattle Country. It’s a lovely life sim in which you farm, hunt, gather, mine, and a lot more. Getting to know the townfolk was so lovely.
After that, the fun didn’t stop as I played a lot of Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. What an amazing game where the movement set feels so good, the art style is great, and it is just so so much fun! I gave this game a 5 out of 5. I haven’t finished it yet, a few more hours to go.
Then it was time for Kabuto Park, a short creature collection game. Finding the different bugs and winning all the battles was a lot of fun.
Last but not least, I played Cash Cleaner Simulator, a game released earlier this month in which you take “money laundry” quite literally.
Most interesting news of this week: Many showcases coming up in the next few weeks, but my absolute favorite is this upcoming Saturday… the Wholesome Direct.
Looking forward to playing: More Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo & Cattle Country

I finished my first playthrough of Doom: The Dark Ages, which I really enjoyed. There were some nice new additions to the gameplay too. You can read my review [HERE]
I have also continued playing Trident’s Tale, an adventure game set in a mystical underwater kingdom. Players take on the role of a young hero chosen by the ancient sea god to retrieve the lost Trident of Power. Solve puzzles, battle mythical sea creatures, and experience much more. Look out for my review coming soon.
I’ve also spent some time with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and I’m sure you’ve heard of it by now. It’s absolutely phenomenal, radiating quality in every aspect.
Most interesting news of this week: Cyberpunk 2 has officially entered pre-production, while The Witcher 3 surpasses Super Mario Bros with 60 million copies sold.
Looking forward to playing: Trident’s Tale, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and some Apex Legends.

Hello, I’m Victoria. I’m from the UK and have been playing video games for as long as I can remember; back on DreamCast. I’ve pretty much fallen for Xbox since I was around eight years old and remember BioShock being my first game on the Xbox360. Although I find it thoroughly enjoyable to not only experience gameplay, I also find comfort in getting lost and engrossed in the online worlds that sometimes differ greatly from what we know. Another side of my Xbox passion would be achievement hunting and gamerscore. I thrive when I hear the little sound of one popping up on the screen and I’m always finding ways to work on my backlog when possible. Horror is my favourite genre so if you have any recommendations, don’t be afraid to send them my way!
