  • Rovio, known from Angry Birds opens a new studio in London for a MMO game. Will we be playing some kind of Angry Birds MMO soon?
  • The mind behind D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die and Deadly Premonition is back after a much needed break. He opened his own studio called White Owls
  • Some lucky players will be able to play Sea of Thieves again in a bonus Technical Alpha. I’m pretty sure this game will be one of the highlights of 2017.
  • The Culling will be headed to Xbox Preview in the first half of this year!
  • You can try Watch Dogs 2 for free, limited to three hours. The game is pretty great so be sure to check it out, or read LifeisXbox’s review!
  • Developer Magic Notion has announced that Kitty Powers’s Matchmaker will come for Xbox One on February 7th.
  • Focus Home was pretty busy this week, they have announced Necromunda: Underhive Wars and Werewolf: The Apocalypse. More information will be out soon!
  • Xbox gamers will be able to play Phantom Dust before E3, said Phil Spencer on Twitter.
  • Big news for Resident Evil fans, Resident Evil 7 is confirmed for Xbox Play Anywhere – buy once, play on both Xbox One & @Windows 10 PC.
  • Activision sold studio FreeStyle Games to Ubisoft. You might know this studio from Guitar hero Live and DJ Hero. Ubisoft has renamed them Ubisoft Leamington.
  • Overwatch is getting a new themed event for the Chinese New Year. New skins for Mei and D.VA has been shown, more information is coming. The event starts January 24th.
  • Big news from Grinding Gear Games, Path of Exile is making a console debut on Xbox One! This critically acclaimed online RPG is completely free-to-play!
  • Codemaster has announced the return for Micro Machines, starting April this legendary arcade racing game will conquer many gamer hearts!
  • Voodoo Vince Remastered is still planned for an early release, we can expect some great news about it very soon!
  • New backward compatible found their way on Xbox One, Tekken 6, Midway Arcade Origins and Mutant Storm Empire.
