What did you and we play this weekend?

Be sure to let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram what YOU played! For now, here are a few LifeisXbox writers to tell you about their weekend.

Dae Jim
My Saturday was a bit busy with moving a large box spring and visiting one of our writers in a COVID-safe way. All my other spare time went into Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, the next game from developer Cyanide. We’ll have our review up when the embargo is over! Besides that, I finally finished Dirt 5 and started Desperados 3, thanks to Xbox Game Pass! All of that played with new products that Razer send us over. The Kaira Pro headset and the Wolverine v2 controller reviews for both later this week!

VicciVulpix
My weekend was spent playing some variety. I did some achievement hunting on Castle of no Escape 1 & 2, Donut County and WWE 2K Battlegrounds. All of the mentioned I thoroughly enjoyed playing with gamerscore just being a pleasant bonus.I played SMITE and tried out a couple of new Gods including Yemoja and Anhur which were both interesting and I can see myself playing them more. Season 8 comes out on Tuesday which I’m really looking forward to.

Robby
I spent the weekend gaming with my wife, which was a fun change of pace. Bonding together over what I enjoy most. We started looking for tiny objects in Hidden Through Time, a game of hide & seek. It’s basically Where’s Waldo through human history. Then we started playing A Way Out, the couch (or online) co-op game where you have to escape prison together. Alternating between each doing your own thing and sometimes teaming up. I’ve never played anything like it. And despite her struggling a bit with the controls (button location and using both analog sticks for movement & camera control) she’s already hooked and can’t wait to continue playing.

Michael & Maui
Michael and Maui: We spent the weekend playing various games together! On Saturday, we finally gave in and bought the Ring Fit Adventure, which we’ve been wanting for a while now. Tested it out as well this weekend and loved it immediately! This will definitely help us work out more often. Maui also reinstalled Runescape after like 10 years, so we played some RS this weekend together as well. Besides this, we partied around in Instant Chef Party as well, a cute little Nintendo Switch for which Michael will have a review up this week! Maui also started playing Tiny Lands, a game where you have to find the differences between two pictures. But with a twist! A short review for this one is coming up this week as well. Oh, we also ended up buying a new Harry Potter board game called Magical Beasts Board Game, very much recommended! Our Harry Potter board game collection is starting to look badass!
